Connecting Up Australia (formerly CISA) provides community services and events information and is a national voice for the  nonprofit sector on information and communications technology (ICT) issues.

The Astronomical Society of South Australia Inc. meets at Kerr Grant Theatre, Physics Building, University of Adelaide, North Terrace, Adelaide at 8pm on the 1st Wednesday of each month. General meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome to attend. ASSA promotes the science of astronomy through its meetings, viewing nights and use of research-grade facilities for members. It also runs workshops and camps and holds private viewing nights at observatories for schools and groups by arrangement .Tel. 8270 3631 (secretary ah), email info@assa.org.au

The Field Geology Club of SA Inc. promotes and engages in the study of geology through lectures and field excursions, and encourages the preservation of areas of geological importance. It is a family club that meets at 7.45 pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Mawson Lecture Theatre, Department of Geology and Geophysics, University of Adelaide. The Royal Geographical Society of SA Inc. was founded in 1885 to advance geographical science, including environmental issues. It offers friendship, enlightenment and fun through a program of talks, lectures, day excursions and coach and camping tours. Meetings are held monthly. Tel. 8207 7265, email admin@rgssa.org.au 

The Royal Society of SA Inc. is a learned society whose interest is in science, particularly as it related to South Australia. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month between March and November.
