Connecting Up Australia (formerly CISA) provides community services and events information and is a national voice for the nonprofit sector on information and communications technology (ICT) issues.

Food Connect Adelaide is an organisation that connects people with local farmers in order to promote a fair go for farmers, eating locally grown food, eating seasonally, ecologically sustainable food production and building community. Customers pay a subscription to receive boxes of produce from local growers and farmers. You can also become a City Cousin and help with distribution of food. Food Connect is a community supported agriculture (CSA) initiative: a model of food production and distribution based on social networks. Email info@foodconnectadelaide.com.au

Bold Ideas Better Live challenge - the Australian Centre for Social Innovation wants to give you the chance to turn your big idea into big impact. They are offering a range of capacity building partnerships and will support up to 10 projects that show the best ideas in social innovation across Australia. Ideas should address social needs faced by communities in Australia – for example, health care, climate change, unemployment. The Royal Institution of Australia (RiAus) aims to bring findings of science to the community and foster informed debate on the issues raised by science and technology. It provides information on current issues in science and holds events highlighting science issues and topics – including talks, films and exhibitions. The Welfare Rights Centre is a legal service specialising in Social Security law. It provides free and independent advocacy services to Centrelink customers with outreach services at Christies Beach - UnitingCare Wesley, 111 Beach Rd, Christies Beach 5168 and Port Adelaide - UnitingCare Wesley, 58 Dale St, Port Adelaide 5015, tel. 8223 1338.
Arthritis SA is holding a Giant Book Sale from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 20 March 2010 at 118 Richmond Road, Marleston 5033. Proceeds will support education, research and help to people with arthritis and other musculo-skeletal conditions. If you have good quality second hand books to donate, contact tel. 08 8379 5711.
The Association Representing Mothers Separated from their Children by Adoption (SA) Inc. (ARMS) has ceased to operate. People requiring support can contact Relationships Australia’s Post Adoption Support Services which assists birth parents and families, persons who have been adopted, and adoptive parents and families. There is also a monthly support group for birth mothers. Tel. 8245 8100.
ACS PC Recyclers Group has relocated to 7 Glen Osmond Rd, Eastwood 5063. This program aims to help people without access to computers and to extend the life of personal computers by allocating them to individuals and organisations in need.
