Dolls, Bears, Toys and Collectables Fair 2017

 Every year the Dolls, Bears, Toys and Collectables Fair is arranged by volunteer members of the Australian Plangon (Antique & Modern Doll) Collectors Club Inc. All funds raised from this event goes towards charity, with the proceeds from this year’s donated to SIDSandKids SA.
 
The 2017 Fair will be held at Fullarton Park Community Centre, 
 411 Fullarton Rd. Fullarton, on Sunday 25th June 2017 -  10am to 4pm.

The entry fee is Adults $7.00 and Children (4 - 14 years) $3.00
 
If you are interested in collecting, or would like a day out, come to the fair!
 
Club members will be displaying items from their collections for all to see.   The dolls will range from antique dolls to modern dolls.  Dolls from the 1920s some celluloid dolls, porcelain dolls, dolls from the 1930s right through to the 1970s and to the collectable dolls of today.   A range of bears from different eras and types of bears will also be on display.  The toys will also be from the past to modern day.  Various collectables from members’ collections and memorabilia from yester-year will also be displayed. 
 
For children there is a working model train and free face painting.
 
There is something from most people’s childhood to stir their memories, not only for the ladies but also the gentlemen and also something for the younger generation to enjoy.
 
Members will also have trading tables with a large variety of items for sale. 
There will also be a “trash & treasure” stall selling a large variety of donated items. All proceeds from the trash & treasure stall, the raffle and entry will be donated to the charity.
 
Volunteers from the charity, SIDS and Kids SA will be providing tea, coffee and light refreshments for purchase during the day, with all proceeds going to their organisation.
 
The Australian Plangon Collectors Club Inc. began in 1968 and now has over 100 members with the club to celebrate its 50 year anniversary.next year.
 
Aside from collecting and having fun learning about dolls and doll related matters, a major aim of the club is to support charity, with a different charity selected each year to sponsor through auctions and the key fair fundraiser.
