Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, In SA: Contact the Continence Resource Centre Australians 50-74 years are invited to test themselves through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program

Mabo Day  Visit the Indigenous.Gov website for details.

5 June
World Environment Day. In SA visit one of the more than 70
Environmental Education Groups or consider contacting or supporting services including the Environmental Defenders Office, Conservation Council, Landcare Association of SA, Trees for Life, Adelaide Sustainability Association or more to help your environment.

8 June 
World Oceans Day. In SA if you would like to learn more become involved, contact one of the 17 Coastal Conservation services or 8 Wetlands conservation groups such as The Marine Life Society of SA Inc. or South Coast Environment Centre

11-17 June 
Men’s Health Week. In SA, consider contacting the South Australian Men's Shed Association for details of one of the many sheds across the state.

13 June 
Become a Blood Donor. In SA: Visit the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and donate blood.

16 May – 14 June
End of Ramadan – Islam. In SA visit the Islamic Information Centre of South Australia or Islamic Society of South Australia for details.

15 June 
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day In SA: Contact the Aged Rights Advocacy Service Inc. for information and register for their World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Conference on 15 June 2018.

17 June 
World Day to Combat Desertification 
In SA: Become a Landcare member to assist in caring and valuing the important resource or consider joining one of 123 environmental action groups such as the Adelaide Park Lands Preservation Association.

17 – 23 June
Refugee Week In SA: Contact services to learn more about refugee culture and history including the Australian Refugee Association Inc.,  The Australian Migrant Resource Centre. Join groups to assist such as STTARS Survivors of Torture and Trauma – Assistance & Rehabilitation Service Inc.

19-25 June
 World Continence Week In SA: Contact the state-wide Continence Resource Centre & Continence Foundation of Australia – SA branch . These organisations promotes and assist with information, advice on services for help with bladder and bowel control problems.

21 June 
International Day of Yoga Use SAcommunity to find a Yoga group near you

Global Day for MND (Motor Neurone Disease) In SA: Contact the Motor Neurone Disease Association of SA.

Vinnies CEO Sleepout - Adelaide  A St Vincent de Paul event to raise money and assist people experiencing homelessness.

23 June
International Widows’ Day The Solace Association (SA) Provides support for grieving partners.

In SA: Legacy Widows Clubs provide support to war widows, the coterie RAAF wives provide information and advice on educational grants to RAAF widows. The War Widows Guild of Australia – SA Branch provide living units.

25 June 
Day of the Seafarer In SA contact seafarer representatives the Maritime Union of Australia – SA branch or social group for seafarers the Merchant Navy Association of SA Note that the Merchant Navy memorial day is the 3rd September.
