Steam Ranger is always looking for volunteers to help maintain and operate the railway
Services
- Travel on the Cockle Train each Wed and Sun all year round between Goolwa and Victor Harbor
- Travel on the Southern Encounter (formerly Cockle Train) from Mount Barker to Strathalbyn and Victor Harbor on selected Sundays June - November
- Other operating trains include Strath Link (Goolwa - Strathalbyn), High Lander (Mount Barker - Strathalbyn) and Bugle Ranger (Mount Barker - Bugle Ranges)
