The City of Playford's Community Services has three separate programs in addition to its Home Assist Scheme program:
Day Activity and Respite, Rural Aged and Social Inclusion
Eligibility: Frail aged, including those suffering from dementia, and their carers living in the City of Playford. Tel. 8256 0377
Services:
Centre-based day care - frail aged. Range of recreational activities and some outings plus lunch for full day participants for the frail aged at the Grenville Seniors Community Connections Hub, Mon - Thurs.9am - 2.30pm. Transport may be arranged if required
Centre-based day care - dementia. Range of recreational activities and some outings plus lunch for full day participants for people with dementia at the Grenville Seniors Community Connections Hub, Mon - Thurs 9am - 2.30pm. Transport may be arranged if required
Respite - centre-based day care. Range of recreational activities and some outings plus lunch for full day participants for the frail aged and people with dementia at the Grenville Seniors Community Connections Hub, Mon - Thurs 9am - 2.30pm. Transport may be arranged if required
Cost: Fee applies for both full and half day participants
