The Gumeracha and District History Centre covers theTorrens Valley Ward of the Adelaide Hills Council. Resources include local publications of town and family histories, birth, death and marriages for the district of Talunga and Highercombe, indexed burial, cemetery, marriage, baptism and christening records.

Materials include photographs, community newsletters, district archives, council records, newspapers, Torrens Valley Historial Journals, maps, oral histories and unpublished histories.

Information, photographs and family histories from this area can be donated or loaned to the centre for copying. This material will be stored in the centre and is an invaluable source of local history for future generations.

Large collection of South Australian information is available on CD, and some records that are not available from any other source.
