  • Public housing - rental housing for low income households and people with special needs in country and metropolitan areas
  • Private Rental Assistance Program - financial assistance to eligible customers may consist of bond guarantees and payments of rent in advance or rent in arrears, including assistance into supported accommodation
  • Housing for Aboriginal people
  • Housing for young people - Direct Lease Youth Priority Scheme for people aged 16-25, medium term housing program for youth who face barriers to private rental accommodation
  • Special needs housing programs - assistance to community groups to provide a range of accommodation services through programs for new migrants, people in crisis, homeless people, people with disabilities and boarding house tenants
  • Student Housing Program provides appropriate and affordable accommodation to eligible tertiary students in South Australia

  • Urban Renewal Program - improvement of the physical, economic and social environment of specific communities
