Regular visits from specialists and health providers. The nearest birthing facilities are at Port Augusta, 250km south of Roxy Downs. A shared care arrangement with GPs and community midwives assists women with care and treatment before, during and after childbirth. The community midwife provides breastfeeding support and runs classes before and after childbirth.

  • Paediatrician (monthly)
  • Obstetrician/Gynaecologist (monthly)
  • Note: Nearest birthing facilities are in Port Augusta
  • Community midwife - breastfeeding support, childbirth classes
