Metropolitan

Adelaide Metro is the public transport system of buses, trains and trams that serve the metropolitan area. Transport services are provided by the following operaters:

  • TransAdelaide - a Government agency that provides train and tram services
  • Torrens Transit - provides bus services to the Outer North East, North West, North South, East and West suburbs
  • SouthLink - provides bus services to the Outer North and Outer South suburbs
  • Transitplus - provides bus services to the Hills and some regional services

Adelaide Free buses, City Loop 99C and South Terrace to Entertainment Centre Tram service, are fully accessible services travelling around the city.

Bus SA brings together the regional bus operators as partners in network that provides passenger services to regional South Australia.

Taxis 

Taxi services are available throughout the metrpolitan area and in most South Australian regional towns and cities.

Gawler Dial-a-ride - a 24 hour service covering the town of Gawler and surrounding suburbs of Roseworthy, Hillier, Hewett, Kalbeeba and Gawler Belt. 

Airports

Adelaide Airport

Domestic and international flights depart from Adelaide Aiport. The airport is served by public transport and taxi services.
