A bracelet engraved with a personalised number is linked to the SA Police database which is accessible by police personnel 24 hours a day from anywhere in South Australia. This will help to ensure the safe and quick return of a person with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia, younger people suffering from autism, intellectual disabilities and other conditions that may cause people to become lost or confused. The bracelet is made of stainless steel with a secure safety clasp that is virtually impossible to remove without assistance. The bracelet is designed to be worn at all times by the registered person
