Eligibility:
Generally people aged 65 and over. Assessment by Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) required for residential care, respite, and community care packages.
Independent Retirement Units: generally for self-sufficient older people

Varies according to type of accommodation or service. Residential care and care packages: according to government regulations

Proudly South Australia, Resthaven is a not-for-profit aged care service of the Uniting Church in Australia, incorporating high quality residential and community aged care services throughout metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia, including the Adelaide Hills, the Riverland, Murraylands, and the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Resthaven is a separately incorporated, financially independent and charitable Public Benevolent Institution. Any revenue we generate is directed to the good work we do, not distributed elsewhere or to other causes.

  • Retirement living locations include Aberfoyle Park, Bellevue Heights, Blackwood, Brighton, Chiton, Elizabeth North, Kingswood, Leabrook, Lower Mitcham, Malvern, Marion, Paradise, Port Elliot, Salisbury, Walkerville and Wynn Vale.
  • Community Services provides: In-home care assistance with every day tasks, shopping, and personal care, health and wellness services, exercise and social groups, and therapy services to assist people to remain independent in their own homes, and respite for carers.
