Fund My Community

$1 million in one-off grants available to make South Australia a better place

Adelaide is consistently ranked as one of the world’s most liveable cities because of its affordable housing, low unemployment and high quality education and healthcare. And most South Australians, whether they live in Adelaide or a regional area, take this lifestyle for granted.

But what if you’re a member of our community, city or regional, that doesn’t enjoy this lifestyle due to social, economic or personal circumstances? Fund My Community is offering grants of between $10,000 and $100,000 for community organisations to deliver projects that measurably improve the well-being, quality of life and participation of disadvantaged South Australians.

In addition to providing grant funding, by involving the public in deciding what projects get funded, Fund My Community also seeks to increase community awareness of social issues, and to give organisations a chance to promote their services and programs.

So if you are a community organisation that provides services to disadvantaged South Australians, head to yoursay.sa.gov.au/fund-my-community for further information about the program and to apply for funding. Applications are being accepted now and can be lodged until 5pm Thursday 2 April 2015.
