Exciting news from Grace at the Prospect Local Environmental Group (PLEG)

"This year, we're not only showcasing the unique talents of our community's craftspeople, community groups, and businesses, but we're also promoting environmentally friendly practices. Our market provides a local marketplace for handmade, unique items, jewellery, homewares, plants, skin care, books, and vintage/recycled clothing, as well as homemade food and preserves (sweet/savory) to eat or take home and more. The first market is on the 1st of April and there's one on the 9th of December too"

New free Produce Swap

PLEG is happy to introduce its new free Produce Swap at the upcoming Prospect Community Market on April 1st from 9am-12pm. Connect with your community and reduce produce waste by bringing your excess produce, plants, seeds, to swap with others.

How it works...
Contributions are placed on the share table as people arrive at 9am & at 10am. The community can bring along the surplus homegrown garden produce (no eggs, dairy, meat) to share (no money changes hands).
Everyone registered is welcome to take whatever they would like.
