Want to be a Wikipedian?

You probably know that Wikipedia is among the most frequently used websites on the World Wide Web.

Did you know that Wikipedia has 772,000+ contributors, of whom around 33,000 are active contributors (more than 5 edits per month) and only 3500 are very active contributors (more than 100 edits per month)? Did you know that Wikipedia is seeking to attract more women editors to address a gender imbalance? I have recently signed up and intend to devote regular time to learning about the role of an editor and taking on some manageable responsibilities.
