Catalyst Foundation (formerly Seniors Information Service)

Jenny Hughes the CEO of Catalyst Foundation (formerly SA Seniors Information Service) was pleased to tell us about their organisation’s new name change and how it reflects the work of their service:

SA Seniors Information Service is now Catalyst Foundation

The new name reflects the evolving work that has been undertaken by Seniors Information Service in the areas of ageing, disability, lifestyle, business and employment and learning that is offered to the community of South Australia.

Catalyst Foundation Chief Executive Jenny Hughes says the name change builds on a foundation of 21 years of service to the South Australian community.

“We have been providing trustworthy and timely support and advice to South Australian seniors, their families and carers. We are the same trusted team with same goal of connecting our community with opportunities and services and building confidence and capacity in South Australians to achieve their goals and to live their life their way.”

Catalyst Foundation’s vision is to improve the wellbeing of South Australians by enabling individuals, their families and carers to have the confidence, capacity and capability to exercise choice and control in living life to the fullest.

“Through our support and assistance we aim to be a catalyst in people’s lives,” Ms Hughes says.

“Our new name Catalyst Foundation helps us to live our value of making a difference through action, whilst reaching out to the community and our consumers, whether they are existing or new clients in the area of ageing, disability, learning, lifestyle and business and employment services.”

“We will continue to adapt and evolve our approach to meet the needs of our community whilst remaining an organisation of People helping People,” Ms Hughes continues.
