Embrace the power of the sisterhood and host a Girls’ Night In

This October, Cancer Council SA is calling on South Australian women to embrace the power of sisterhood and host a Girls’ Night In to support women diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancer.

More than 3,000 South Australian women are diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancer every year—that equates to eight women every day.

Hosting a Girls’ Night In is a great chance to catch up with your girlfriends after a difficult year, it’s also a fantastic way to make a difference to those South Australian women who need our support most. The official date to host a Girls’ Night In is Saturday 24 October, however hosts can hold an event any time throughout October or November.

Money raised through Cancer Council’s Girls’ Night In will help fund vital research into women’s cancers, cancer prevention and advocacy programs, and support services to help those affected at every stage of their cancer journey.
