Pooraka Farm Community Centre - Family Fun Day 
Pooraka Farm Community Centre (PFCC) is holding their Annual Family Fun Day on Saturday the 1st of May with the theme ‘Getting to know your community’. The event aims to engage families with local community organisations by hosting activities to suit all ages. The 'Family Fun Day' offers free entertainment, face painting, petting zoo, photo booth, food and drinks as well as storytelling, games and craft activities with past events attracting over 400 people on the day.

The PFCC is calling for local community organisations to collaborate and be part of this special annual event providing a great opportunity to showcase their local group and connect with families. Organisations can set up an information stall and/or merchandise and it would be great if services could contribute to the day by providing an activity which is fun and interactive. Tables and chairs are provided but groups need to bring their own sun shelter/marquee if required. 

Heather Hewitt Community Development Co-ordinator sees the event as "a fun free day for the community to participate in and reconnect because that's what we're all about."
