Before contacting the TIO callers should try and resolve the issue with their telecommunications company. If this does not work, then contact the TIO.

The TIO helps consumers and companies work together to resolve complaints. If a complaint cannot be resolved by an informal process, formal investigations are held and decisions are made that providers must act upon.

  • The TIO can investigate complaints about contracts, billing problems with mobile subscription message services, delays in connecting services, repairing faults, debt collection activities and transfers.
