Hours:
Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm (By Appointment only)
Eligibility:
Disabled people who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation. Their parents, guardians, other family members, friends, carers and support workers are eligible too.
Fees:
free

The Disability Royal Commission was established due to community concern about widespread reports of violence against, and the neglect, abuse and exploitation of, people with disability in various settings and contexts.

  • Professional trauma-informed counselling
  • Information on the impacts of trauma, as well as the skills and strategies to manage these
  • Information and help to access other services if needed
  • Access to interpreting and cultural translation services available
