Services
- Benefits of membership include,
- • A one-off yearly Membership fee of just $20.00.
- • We are a non-profit organisation and operate under strict legal guidelines and regulations according to Legislative Governance.
- • Members are free to being their plants along to our monthly meetings to sell to other members.
- • We attend two Festivals every year – the Festival of Flowers and the Blackwood Christmas Market. A small percentage (10%) of members’ plant sales are donated to the AVGG to support our operational costs.
- • Access to quality AV pots, specialised AV custom-made potting mix and exclusive supplies direct from our wholesalers and providers. These specialty supplies are not available to the general public.
- • Access to quality named AVs, both from other members and also our contacts from interstate at reasonable and fair prices.
- • Personal help and support in diagnosing any problems with your AVs. A one-on-one home visit can be arranged if required.
- • Access to our comprehensive Library. Sometimes reading a book is far better as there is so much information online it is impossible to know what is right and what is wrong. We will be introducing a “Member Only Login” to this comprehensive Library in due course where you will be able to access authentic documentation on everything “African Violets”.
- • Most importantly, you can actively participate and directly contribute to the Group via our Social Media Platforms.
- • You can share your passion, knowledge, and expertise with other members in a Private forum and also receive authentic help and advice on the well-being of your AVs.
- • You can be an active contributor (if you choose) to our website Blog page (under development).
- • Make new friends!
- • You will receive a tri-monthly Newsletter full of tips and tricks. A must-have for all lovers of AVs.
