Accreditation Field
Overview: Field Definition and Scope
Accreditation refers to information regarding an independent evaluation of a service or organisation, against governing industry or recognised standards from an agency.

Usage
SAcommunity has an accreditation field in each organisation record where it is possible to link records via URL to relevant authoritative accreditation sources and registers. In this way authorised regulatory information is available with an organisation's contact details to assist people to make informed decisions.

We add the URL of the accreditation body to maintain the independence and veracity of the evaluation of this third party, rather than add a credentials note or other information found ourselves or issued from the organisation.
