Connecting Up is supported by a grant from the Government of South Australia, Department of the Premier and Cabinet to provide the SAcommunity directory.

Connecting Up also receives support from Public Library Services, the administrative body for South Australia's 140+ public libraries.

SAcommunity works closely with the Department of Communities & Social Inclusion through the contribution of community information data to MapIQ, a tool that maps community based service outlets throughout South Australia.
