Create a Calendar of Events
Looking for community service events to write about?
- Check calendars from previous years, potentially there are annual events that will run the same time. (Search Terms "[month] community events")
- Check the SAcommunity inbox for submitted stories and actively engaged community services.
- Visit the SA Councils Community Events List which automatically draws from, and links back to South Australian council websites.
- Check the South Australian Tourism Commission website for their major and regional events calendar and look for not-for-profit and charity events.

Search for or Browse topics from the A-Z Services listing
Search for or Browse topics from the A-Z Organisation listing - Contact organisations by phone to ask about their events and for images
- Contact organisations by email using media template to ask about their events and for images
- Add your (single) events to Google with structured data
- Tag the organisation to the blog event under social media: SAcommunity Story
- Tag your calendar with the Events tag for automatic addition to the Events menu
- Respond to organisations by email to thank them and to let them know you have listed their event and include link to their story in the blog, calendar and other media channels
