If you have ever lived or worked in Avon perhaps on the railway or have an interest in the history of the town, railways, model trains (O scale model trains) and memorabilia. - Including a static display recreating the Bowman's Refreshment rooms in the main hall. - Come to Avon and celebrate this '100 years in the making' event.

Avon Sunday School Building and the Railway, Long Plains to Bowmans, a town near Balaklava and Wakefield was opened in 1923, and a bus trip from Avon to Balco / Bowmans where the railway workers houses were established has been organised for those interested in visiting the area.
