  • Want to have a better success rate with grant applications? There's an Advanced Grant Writing Seminar coming up in Adelaide on 21 October 2011, presented by Our Community. It is aimed at people who have completed a prior grant training session or are actively involved in grant writing for their organisation
  • The Governor’s Multicultural Awards 2011 are now open for nominations of individuals and organisations who have made outstanding contributions to multiculturalism in South Australia. Entries must be submitted by 31 October 2011
  • PARK(ing) Day is about recognising the importance of urban public spaces, rethinking the way we use our streets and creating conversations about design and how we make sustainable cities. Book a space and make a parking place into a people place! www.adelaideparkingday.com
  • The Legal Services Commission provide free seminars on legal issues for community members and organisations. Upcoming sessions are on Familty Law and Child Support
  • UniSA Successful Ageing Seminar - Cyber Communication: The perils of the online environment and how to keep safe will be held from 2pm - 4pm on Friday 23 September 2011 in the Barbara Hanrahan Building (Lecture theatre BH2-09), UniSA City West Campus, North Terrace, Adelaide
  • International Day of Older Persons celebration at the Adelaide Festival Centre, hosted by Minister for Ageing, Jennifer Rankine, marking the 21st International Day of Older Persons. Tickets are free but numbers are limited, so registration is essential. Register by Friday 16 September.  More information tel. 8207 0522
