This is a list of places people who are isolated or in need, including those experiencing homelessness, the elderly, and those who are lonely can share a meal at Christmas.

These services and events span the Adelaide Metropolitan area, and South Australian regional areas.

ADELAIDE CITY

Hutt St Centre
Who: Meals for people connected to Hutt St, who are experiencing homelessness and rough sleepers 
Christmas Day Wednesday 25 December 2024, breakfast 7am - 9am, lunch 11.30am - 12.30pm

Baptist Care SA (WESTCARE) 
Who: Meals for people experiencing homelessness or low income earners
When: Wednesday 25 December 2024, 11am – 1pm

WestCare Centre provides a safe place for food, shelter, support, advocacy and referrals, access to showers, toilets, laundry facilities and health care.

Pilgrim Uniting Church 
Who: Free Christmas dinner for people who are vulnerable, isolated or want to share Christmas with others
Cost: No cost

Fred's Van - St Vincent de Paul Society 
Who: For rough sleepers and people doing it tough 
What: Free evening meal for rough sleepers, plus give-away blankets if required.
How: Drop in, no cost 
When: 6 nights per week, 7pm weekdays, 6pm weekends.  Meals served over Christmas and New Year period. 
Where: Hemmings Park, Gawler Place, Adelaide 5000

The Salvation Army
What/Who: Christmas events (including Christmas meals) for the community.  As well as offering food and gift support, many local Salvos host free Christmas meals, carols services and church services. There is a list of Christmas events including church services, carols and Christmas meals to select from on their website. You can search by location and type of event.

Who: Free Christmas lunch for people who are isolated, vulnerable or just want some company at Christmas
