The Adelaide Italian Festival is once again returning in 2024, and is shaping up to be both exciting and eventful. The festival will kick off on the 1st of November with the opening night street party, and will come to a close on the 10th of November with the return of the beloved La Grande Gita bike ride.

Opening Night Street Party - 1st November - Festival Plaza, Adelaide SA 5000
Enjoy a free, family friendly event with live entertainment and local Italian food vendors.
Cinema Sotto Le Stelle - 2nd November - Festival Plaza, Adelaide SA 5000
Experience a night-time screening of the Italian movie Belli Ciao. A range of Italian food and wine will be available. Tickets cost $10 and are available here.
Autoclassica - 3rd November - Festival Plaza, Adelaide SA 5000
Come and enjoy a free, family friendly showcase of Italian motoring heritage, featuring a range of Italian car brands, as well as local pizzas and coffee.
The Journey Mass - 9th November - St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, 39 Wakefield Street, Adelaide SA 5000
Attend a celebration of Italian migrants and their heritage held at the impressive St Francis Xavier's Cathedral.
La Grande Gita - 10th November - Calabria Wines, 284 Magnolia Road, Vine Vale SA 5352
Come and participate in a picturesque bike ride through the Barossa Valley. The event celebrates Italian culture by encouraging riders to use vintage bikes and clothing. There will also be the opportunity to visit the many cellar doors across the 4 available routes. For more information visit https://bikesa.asn.au/la-grande-gita. Alongside these will be a number of other events including wine tasting, painting, movie screening, author meets, and cabarets. With all these activities, the Adelaide Italian Festival is looking like it will be a must-attend for people and families of all ages.
