Interested in learning how to reduce your energy consumption?

PLEG extends a warm welcome to you all to attend their Community Forum -

“We’re delighted to welcome guest expert speakers Ekkehard Groskreutz and Monica Oliphant from the South Australian Renewable Energy Policy Group (SAREPG). SAREPG members are current or former scientists, engineers and policy individuals (who have worked in industry, academia and government). They are interested in climate change and, as a group, actively promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and advocate for socially equitable outcomes.

Monica and Ekkehard will share insights from their recent work with local councils, helping residents manage energy costs through sustainable and community-focused solutions.

The session includes a 15-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A discussion:

  • Learn from others
  • Find out what other councils in SA are doing to help residents reduce their energy consumption
  • And explore what we can do together locally.”

With cost of living and environment at the forefront of community concern, this engaging and informative afternoon is a great way to explore practical ways to reduce your energy bills.

Prospect Local Environment Group (PLEG) looks forward to seeing you on Saturday 2 August.
