Festival of Flowers
The Festival of Flowers, one of Adelaide's largest events for garden enthusiasts, is set to return in October. This exciting event brings together various South Australian Garden Clubs and commercial vendors, showcasing and selling a stunning array of plants.
The event will feature two full basketball courts showcasing some of the best flowering plants in SA. Visitors can enjoy the plant displays and flowers while the kids enjoy some fun activities. There will also be an on-site café and a raffle will be held.
The Festival of Flowers will be held in a new, fully accessible location, The Lights Community and Sports Centre, which offers plenty of off-street parking space and air conditioning.
Whether you're a seasoned green thumb or simply love gorgeous blooms, the Festival of Flowers is the perfect day out. Bring your family along to explore, learn and purchase your favorite plants, meet experts and, grow your plant passion.

About the Orchid Club of South Australia
The group was established in 1939 by Orchid growers in Adelaide, the club currently has approximately 340 members, many of which are amongst the most experienced orchid growers within Australia.

The club's mission is to continue promoting the advancement and propagation of all species of orchid, with a strong focus on preserving all species of orchids.
In addition to the Festival of Flowers, the Orchid Club organizes various events throughout the year. These include monthly meetings, plant shows, educational "Orchids in Schools" programs, and workshops for new growers to gain insight from experts.
