OzAsia Festival 17 October 2025 - 9 November 2025

The OzAsia Festival will be returning this year, proudly presenting three fabulous weeks of the best contemporary Asian and Asian Australian performance, art, literature, cuisine, and culture, taking place from 17 October 2025 - 9 November 2025.
This year’s festival promises an expanded program featuring a vibrant mix of food, art, music, and cultural experiences. Recurring and new programs will bring together a vibrant mix of community, national and international artists, featuring an exciting line-up of performances, exhibitions, and experiences for all ages. Highlights include free and ticketed events across the city, from immersive art installations to live music and interactive workshops.
The beloved Moon Lantern Trail returns, offering a magical experience with giant handcrafted lanterns and roving performances. This year, the Moon Garden will be expanded, providing a free, family-friendly retreat at the heart of the trail. Activities include lantern-making, origami, calligraphy, lawn games, and storytelling, led by local artists and communities.
One of the festival's highlights, the Lucky Dumpling Market, will be held at Elder Park from 17 October to 9 November. Visitors can indulge in a variety of Asian cuisines, including dumplings, noodles, and bubble tea, from local vendors. The market will also feature free live entertainment on the OzAsia Festival Stage each Thursday to Sunday, showcasing local and international artists.
Anime enthusiasts can look forward to the AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival on Sunday, 26 October at the Dom Polski Centre. The 9th annual event will celebrate Japanese pop culture with anime screenings, manga, karaoke, cosplay, and more.
