Are you ready for all the fun of the Prospect Spring Fair? It’s gearing up to be as much fun as previous years with a great mix of food, fun and entertainment for the whole family.
This year there’s a new event on the Main Stage “The Inaugural Prospect Fair Pie Eating Contest”. Prospect Spring Fair and Muratti Cakes and Gateaux have teamed up to challenge 10 locals to Eat pie – Hands Free! Simply be the fastest to eat your cream pie but no hands allowed!
Up for the challenge? Go to the City of Prospect webpage, click on Spring Fair Prospect Pie Eating Competition and sign up. Entries close midnight October 6 2025 and successful competitors will be notified of their inclusion no later than Friday 10 October 2025. If you’re chosen as one of the successful competitors you could win a $100 voucher to enjoy at Muratti on Prospect Rd.
A crowd favourite “Dachshund Mini Dash” is ready to race!
Your chance to see if your beloved dachshund is the fastest over 30 metres on the day. Starting at 11.30am, there will be four heats, a semi-final and then the Grand Final.
Sign up on the City of Prospect webpage, click on Spring Fair Prospect, Dachshund Mini Dash. Spots are limited so register now. Entries close midnight October 6 2025 and successful competitors will be notified of their inclusion no later than Friday 10 October 2025.

- Kids can become junior palaeontologists at the Dig a Dino site as they dive into an epic ball pit excavation, searching for pieces to assemble a giant dinosaur puzzle
- Nature Play by Climbing Tree: Test your survival skills! With just sticks, rope, and natural materials, children will dive into the ultimate cubby-building challenge
- Seed bombing workshop with NaturePlay SA
- Wild Awakenings community mural with artist SairBean: An explosion of life begins underground; seeds splitting open, roots twisting, fungi sprouting, while above, creatures roam freely through new growth of a seemingly magical land. This mural reflects spring as a time of growth and wild expansion
- Cardboard Creations with Calamity Tash – contribute to building the epic cardboard castle that will become Broadview Manor
- Facepainting by Mad Hatterz Parties
- Henna body art by Westside Henna
- Caricatures by ArtbyBoky
- Airbrush and glitter tattoos by Amayzin Airbrush Tattoos.

- Our 'Come and Try Area' including local sports groups Broadview Football Club, North Adelaide Croquet Club and Broadview Tennis Club
- A big red firetruck from SA Metropolitan Fire Service for wannabe firefighters to explore and educate on fire safety.
- Artisan and market stalls including hand-made and artisan wares, jewellery, doggy products, giftware, woodworks, candles, crafts and more!
- Youth market stalls, supporting our young entrepreneurs under 25 by offering a platform to sell their home-made items, build their budding business experience and engage with their community

- Live music performances by The Drops (Blackfriars Priory School band), Morgan Bramble, Shindig Addiction, Boombox Bootscoot and Brazil Nuts Orchestra
