Four Fact-Filled Fridays

Presented by Volunteering SA&NT. Meet and connect with other volunteer managers and update your skills. Different topics each Friday in February.

RedFeb Heart Research Month

A fundraising and awareness campaign run by Heart Research Australia to support heart research.  Heart Research Australia encourages all Australians to be proactive during RedFeb and support the fight against Australia's number one killer disease, heart disease.

Certificate of Awareness in Mental Health

World Wetlands Day

2 February 2013 - The international theme for  2013 is Wetlands take care of water

Safer Internet Day

5 February 2013 - This year's theme, Online rights and responsibilities, will be used to promote positive digital citizenship across Australian communities.

Diabetes SA Food & Health Seminar - Translating food science onto your plate 

23 February 2013 - 9.30am - 12.30pm at Adelaide Convention Centre. This event that will showcase the science behind the most recent diet recommendations and provide practical advice to help you eat well.

Tomato Festival

At Adelaide Botanic Gardens 23-24 February 2013 - bringing together tomato gardeners and home cooks from across South Australia to share the benefits of home-grown produce, promote the diversity of tomato varieties and inspire cooks to embrace the versatile tomato in new ways. Includes the tomato sauce challenge.

Donate Life Week

24 February - 3 March 2013 - Australia's national awareness week to promote organ and tissue donation.

Doc Week

25 February - 3 March 2013 - Celebrating documentary film and television with screenings in various venues around Adelaide.
