Here are 6 steps you need to follow, according to Sue Gardner, Executive Director of Wikimedia Foundation:

1. Find a topic that interests you 
2. Google it
3. Assemble your facts into a decent article
4. Add citations
5. Make some final tweaks
6. Then hit Save Page. And you’re done!
