The Festival of Flowers is a two-day event providing plant displays and demonstrations, sales and supplies, the major show is run by the Festival of Flowers organising committee in conjunction with horticultural clubs across South Australia.
The Festival covers a wide range of plants with 15-20 minute demonstrations on African Violets, Begonias, Geraniums, Pelargoniums, Orchids, Cacti and Succulents, Ferns, Bromeliads, Bonsai, Carnivorous plants and more. Find their demonstration program on their website here.
Demonstrations provide a great forum to find out more about your plant passion and to learn from the experts. Do you have a problem plant? Learn more about maintaining your plants or ask questions about plants you have wanted to grow yourself but were too afraid to ask!
The show also provides an opportunity to learn more about the various horticultural clubs and societies in South Australia including: The Orchid Club of South Australia, South Australian Begonia Society, South Australian Geranium and Pelargonium Society, Australian Carnivorous Plant Society, Bonsai Society of SA, African Violet Society of South Australia Inc. and the Cactus & Succulent Society of SA.
