Young Tradespeople and Professionals (YTAP) Whyalla
Who are we?
Young Tradespeople and Professionals (YTAP) is a not-for-profit community group that aims to create social and networking opportunities for workers in the Eyre and Lower Eyre Peninsula with YTAP groups based in Whyalla and Port Lincoln respectively.

Many young workers originate from the city and/or interstate having moved to remote or rural areas away from family and friends. These groups were formed in recognition of some of the challenges that arise with retainment and recruitment of young tradespeople and professionals in these regions.

What do we do?
Whyalla YTAP meets monthly for regular social activities and to facilitate ongoing friendships with a strong emphasis on assisting the local community. The group hosts an array of functions including the annual Charity Ball which raises funds for local organisations in need.

How can I join?
If you are interested in joining YTAP - Whyalla come to the volunteer day or visit their Facebook site to find out about their next social function. Alternatively, if you are a local business in the region, consider providing funding or otherwise supporting a group that supports your workers and local charities.
