Prospect Community Garden “Learning in the Garden” Talks

The Prospect Community Garden presents “Learning in the Garden”, a series of free talks held on the first Saturday of the month at their Community Garden in Prospect.

April 6th - “Native Foods – How to grow and use” with Chris Bryant and John Boland
May 4th - “All about bees” with Vanessa Hoo from Mademoiselle Bee
June 1st - Preserving Olives the Greek and Italian Way” with Jack Condus and Luigi

Prospect Community Garden, laneway off Willcox Ave, adjacent to the tennis courts
Cost: Free event, all welcome

Each talk is followed by their monthly “Fruit and Veg Swap” where you can bring your excess garden produce (fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds, flowers, plants) to exchange for the garden produce you don’t grow.
