What’s happening during Autumn at the Botanic Gardens of South Australia?

Autumn in South Australia continues to bring a range of burnt orange, red and yellow colours to the landscape of Adelaide and the regions around it.

For those looking forward to enjoying what nature has to offer this time of the year, The Botanic Gardens of South Australia have some activities going on before Winter arrives.

The Gardens is a State Government statutory under the control of the Department for Environment and Water and the Board of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium.  To learn more about the institution, visit www.botanicgardens.sa.gov.au.

During May and June, the community will have the opportunity to join guided walks through the gardens, enrol in masterclasses and workshops, and take part in the Garden’s festivals.

Autumn in the Adelaide Hills.
When the temperature drops in the state, the green colour of cool-climates trees fades away turning into yellow, red and oranges tones at the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden.

While the leaves still falling, the place attracts a large number of visitors with various activities occurring until the beginning of June. Free guided tours, plant sales, and Garden Masterclasses are some of them. Read more about these in the Autumn Colours at Mount Lofty Botanic Garden site.
