Onkaparinga City Concert Band's 'Night at the Movies Cabaret' 21 September 2019

The Onkaparinga City Concert Band was formed in 1976 and has been proudly serving the southern suburbs of Adelaide ever since. The ‘Night at the Movies’ Cabaret is our Final major concert for the year and your last chance to see the band play before we enter the holiday season.

Grab your popcorn and choc-top, it’s time for our annual cabaret night and this time it’s all about the movies! The Concert Band and the Hopgood Wind Ensemble will be playing all your favourite tunes from some of the biggest movies including the ‘Star Wars Imperial March.’

Our special highlight of the night is an Australian First, featuring the music of ‘The Cabinet of Dr Caligari’. This piece is an original score written for the German silent film of the same name, by American composer Ian Deterling.

So gather a table of your friends, bring a plate and some drinks, and enjoy a Night at the Movies with the Onkaparinga City Concert Band!
