Held annually on the third Saturday in October, World Singing Day is in its eighth year. The event was founded in 2002 by Colorado musician Scott Johnson and originates from pure intentions, serving as ‘a catalyst for positive human connection… an opportunity to celebrate our global family through the international language of music’.

Think karaoke, but on a global scale! In 2019 volunteer hosts Julia Creane and the Mount Lofty Singers are coordinating Adelaide’s involvement, and they invite all who are interested to join them at the plaza in front of the State Library on North Terrace, Saturday 19 October at 1.30pm.

The event is open to everybody, regardless of singing ability. More information can be found via Facebook where an event page for Adelaide has been setup. Here you can register your interest and collect your FREE ticket.
