Spring has sprung and no where more than at the upcoming Begonia and Fern Spring Show. Last year we spoke to the Fern Society of South Australia about this, their ever-popular joint plant display show and sale and this year SAcommunity spoke to Val Hendry from the South Australian Begonia Society to find out more.

"Most of these begonias cannot be found commercially in shops or nurseries and that's why people come to us to see an excellent display of the best begonias and plants for sale" explained Val Hendry, secretary of the South Australian Begonia Society Inc.

The Spring Show includes plant sales and demonstrations, white elephant stalls, raffles with tea, coffee and fresh sandwitches available for purchase combine for a wonderful day out on an Adelaide spring day.
