The annual Willunga Almond Blossom Festival is returning after a hiatus in 2020 and postponement during 2021, mainly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “It’s been a long time coming and we can’t wait to welcome visitors from all over the state to this Fleurieu family favourite,” event coordinator Heather Williams said.
It should be a fun-filled weekend for the whole family. The event will include show rides, side shows, food trucks, market stalls, live music, camel and pony rides, animal nurseries, fireworks and more. Not to mention the almond related events that include the baking competitions and the almond cracking contest.
“This year’s festival promises to be a great weekend for the whole family – but don’t just take our word for it, we’ve had a lot of local kids tell us they can’t wait!” Heather said.
