Gamble Cottage was originally owned by the Gamble family - the Gamble sisters gave the house and garden to Mitcham Council for public use in 1985

Services
- Guided tours and group visits by arrangement
- Afternoon tea during open days 3rd Sun monthly
- Volunteers maintain garden Tues 9am - 11am - weeding, pruning, maintaining garden beds etc, new Friends always welcome
- Hire of cottage rooms through National Trust - large room seats 20 (afternoon teas etc)
- Hire of garden grounds for weddings etc
- Main paths and toilet accessible by wheel chair
