Preschool program for 15 hours per week in the year prior to enrolling in school. Children turning 4 up to April 30th are eligible to start kindergarten in the year they turn 4. Children turning 4 from May 1st will be eligible to start kindergarten at the beginning of the following year. Children are able to attend kindergarten for up to 15 hours per week in the year prior to starting school. Five 3 hour sessions per week may be chosen. A “full day” uses two of the child’s five session entitlement. Sessions are negotiated by the parents and Kindergarten Director according to the child’s needs, and family commitments.
