Residents aged 65 years and over with a relevant My Aged Care referral or residents aged under 65 with disability, but not in receipt of the NDIS

Services
- The Home Assist Program offers entry level services. This includes:
- Cleaning – basic domestic cleaning services to provide assistance with tasks residents are no longer able to do. This may include spring cleans, short term or ongoing assistance. Time limits apply to services. Fees - $12 per hour
- Unaccompanied Activities – This includes shopping on behalf of residents via a list. Fees - $12 per session.
- Home Maintenance – assistance with essential minor home maintenance and repair tasks, with the focus being on ensuring homes remain safe and habitable. Limited gardening services are also available through the Program. Fees - $12 per hour plus cost of materials
- Home Modifications – minor home modifications are available to improve safety, mobility and accessibility in the home. This includes installation of ramps, rails and hand held showers. Please note – an Occupational Therapist assessment is required prior to most modifications. Fees – 75% cost of materials and installation.
- Social Support – assistance to help residents meet their basic need for social contact whilst providing support to enable residents to continue to participate in local activities within the community, such as shopping. Fees - $12 per session (accompanied activity). No fee for friendly visiting service.
