Newmarch Gallery is run by City of Prospect and is a high quality, nationally recognised exhibition space. The diversity of its exhibition program reflects its role as a contemporary public exhibition space with a longstanding community focus. The Gallery exhibits solo and group shows across a range of media, supporting both emerging and established artists. The Gallery's calendar includes the Prospect Community Arts Show, now part of the SALA (South Australia's Living Artist Festival) on an annual basis and the biennial Portrait prize.
