The Kersbrook Landcare Group (KLG) is a community run not for profit organisation concerned about environmental issues in the Kersbrook area. We aim to encourage and promote community interest in enhancing biodiversity within the region and to be proactive ensuring threats to the environment are addressed and mitigated.
Working with our group is satisfying, educational, safe, and most importantly, A HAPPY experience! Come and join us.
  • Kersbrook Landcare Nursery - local plant nursery where volunteers assist in the production of quality low cost plants for revegetation and home gardens.
  • Bushcare sites – helps to care for two remnant vegetation reserves through working bees and monitoring.
  • Focus on Flora - new book released in 2017 has been written to enable the general public to easily identify and gain a better understanding of the native pants of the Adelaide Hills and Barossa.
  • Community engagement – provides information and support to local residents in the form of information evenings and working bees.
  • Hale Conservation Park – strong interest in the management of Hale Conservation Park at Williamstown, recently initiating and funding the production of a Biodiversity Management Plan.
  • Liaison with local groups and agencies to help facilitate and/or fund land management in the region.
