The Bereaved Through Suicide Support Group was established in Adelaide in 1986 and is a not-for-profit organisation. Run by people who themselves have been bereaved through suicide, BTS supports those in the community who have been close to someone who has taken their own life – partner, child, relative, friend or close acquaintance. Many people who have been bereaved through suicide find comfort and support in knowing they can share their loss and grief with others bereaved through suicide, and realise that they are not alone.
