Women’s Health Service is a free and confidential health service for women living in metropolitan Adelaide. No referral is needed. Our services are provided to women aged 16 years and over in welcoming, safe and culturally respectful places. Trauma responsive services for women experiencing health issues as a result of domestic and family violence or challenging life issues. 

Culturally respectful services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and refugee and newly-arrived migrant women. Female interpreters can be arranged. Please ask when making an appointment.

Clinical and emotional health and wellbeing services as part of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network.

  • Clinical Services Our clinics are provided by health professionals who specialise in women’s health issues including:
  • Domestic violence healthcare
  • Domestic violence outreach clinics to women’s shelters
  • Domestic violence injury documentation
  • Health information and assessment around safe relationships
  • Cervical screening tests
  • Sexually transmitted infections
  • Contraception and pregnancy testing
  • Sexual and gynaecological health concerns (e.g. pelvic pain, period problems, menopause and continence)
