 Guide Dogs SA-NT aims to assist individuals with sensory disability and families of children living with Autism. Services provided meet needs over an individuals lifetime with skills for children with sensory disability, to study and employment to transition to independent living and to ongoing support for older Australians.

  • Guide Dogs training and support
  • Orientation and Mobility Services for people who are blind or vision impaired
  • Neurological Vision Services, including rehabilitation and specialist advice for people who have experienced stroke
  • Hearing Services, including information, education, communication skills training and hearing advisory services
  • Sensory Directions, providing complex case management for people who are deaf, hearing impaired, blind, vision impaired and deaf-blind
  • Outreach services are provided in country areas
  • Consultancy education and support to family, community and government on vision and hearing loss
  • Adopt a puppy program - guide dog puppies are adopted by families with whom they live for up to 14 months and who are responsible for introducing the puppy to different environments and situations
